South West Grid for Learning is proud to announce a brand new competition in collaboration with J2e and Rising Stars Switched ON ICT. With support from The FA, Exeter Chiefs and Exeter City FC, this promises to be one of our most exciting competitions yet. With the theme of ‘Positivity in Sport’, we are looking for students in KS2 to create a blog outlining their positive experiences in sport. This doesn’t have to be all about playing sport!Students could think along the lines of:
We will be running this competition on a monthly basis for 3 months (November, December, January), with judges from both Exeter City FC and Exeter Chiefs helping us with the judging.
Each month, the winning students will be rewarded with a range of sporting prizes… FA Respect goodies, Tickets to see an Exeter City FC home-game, signed Exeter Chiefs merchandise and their blog will be put on the SWGfL website for everyone to see.
Not only that, but their school will receive a £200 voucher to be spent on
Rising Stars products. 2nd place winners will receive an e-Book Library for their school, along with 4 x Runner Up copies of ICT Essentials.
